THE PEOPLE BRUCE KEYES Bruce is a partner in the law firm of Foley & Lardner, LLP an avid mountain biker and bike commuter. Bruce was one of the founders of Milwaukee Business by Bike and is an active bike advocate. Bruce serves on the management committee of the board of Discovery World, Ltd, Menomonee Valley Partners, Inc. and The Friends of Hank Aaron State Trail, Inc. BARRY MAINWOOD Barry is the owner of Mainly Editing, Inc. a post production company located in the Third Ward. He is a bike commuter, road biker and averages over 8,000 miles a year on a bike. He is a bike advocate and also a founding member of MB3 (Milwaukee Business by Bike). JULI KAUFMANN Juli is owner of Fix Development, a real estate development company located in Walker’s Point. She is an advocate for sustainable urban communities and believes biking should be safe and accessible mode of transportation available to all. She is a newcomer to bike advocacy and is rediscovering the joys of biking. She commutes by bike as much as she can while balancing work and family needs that require other transportation modes. JACK HIRT Jack is the former Executive Director of the Wisconsin Bike Federation and is currently a partner in Midwest Cycling Series, LLC, a company that stages the Tour of America’s Dairyland bike races each year. Jack is a road bike racer and bike advocate. OUR ROLE Establish, fund and supervise installation and future expansion of the BikeShare system.
